The Art And Science Of Flight
I am an Arizona-based shooter specializing in aviation subjects and the activities associated with all types of flying both civilian and military.
Here you'll find static subjects, ground-to-air and air-to-air in razor-sharp, high-quality images that showcase the excitement and beauty of flight from the biplanes of the 1930s through the combat aircraft of World War II to today's modern military and civilian jets and light aircraft.
I have been featured in Aviation Week & Space Technology, Sport Aviation, the "Golden Age Of Flight" calendar and "The 100 Greatest Aircraft Of All Time" by the editors of Flying Magazine. I am also a volunteer photographer for EAA each summer at AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Canon EOS digital cameras and EF Lenses are my tools of choice. Post Processing is done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop with various plug ins. Inquiries about my photography and/or my techniques are always welcome.
Please visit www.crosswindimages.com for additional images. If you see something there that you'd like to purchase on a particular product through this site, drop me a note and we'll make it happen for you. You can also purchase prints directly at Crosswind Images.
I would not be able to do what I do without the support of my wife Kristen, and our two cats Jet and Bella.
